Rev. Benjamin N. Thomas, Jr. had been a resident of Phoenix for over 19 years. As a member of Tanner Chapel AME Church, where his father is the pastor, he grew up as a dedicated member of the YPD (Young People’s Division), TYC (Tanner Youth Choir), and Youth Usher Board. Benjamin received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Southern University and A & M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. While at Southern, he participated in the Southern University Interdenominational Gospel Choir.

Benjamin accepted his call to ministry in 2004. In 2009, he was ordained as an Itinerant Deacon at the Desert Mountain Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. He is currently working on his Masters of Divinity degree.

Rev. Thomas continues to be a dedicated member of Tanner Chapel AME Church. In 2006, Benjamin started Generation I.M.P.A.C.T.(Innovative Ministry Positively Anointed for Christ Today, which is the Young Adult Ministry at Tanner Chapel. Since serving in that position, he has developed ‘Study on the Go’, which is bible study done over tele-conference, Annual Young Adult Conference, ASU bible study ministry, and New Song  Praise Team. Benjamin is the son of Rev. Dr. Benjamin Thomas Sr. He is loving husband to Tamara Garrison of Phoenix, Arizona. Benjamin is also the loving father to Samara, Benjamin III and Bryson Thomas.
